How an ioGate® RFID tag works compared to a sticker tag

magine two cars arriving at the same gate.

The first car has a simple sticker tag on the windshield. It’s just a piece of printed plastic — maybe with a number, a logo, or a barcode. But when the car approaches, nothing happens. The gate stays closed. The driver has to find the remote, roll down the window, or wait for someone to manually check the tag.
After all, that sticker is just a label: you can see it, but it doesn’t “communicate” with the gate.

The second car, however, has an RFID windshield tag. At first glance, it looks similar, but inside it hides a tiny microchip and an invisible antenna. When the car approaches the entrance, the system’s antenna recognizes it instantly. It’s as if the tag says:
“Hey, I’m authorized — you can open.”

The gate opens automatically — no remote, no app, no buttons to press. The driver doesn’t have to do a thing, keeps their hands on the wheel, and passes through without stopping. Everything happens quietly and naturally.

The difference is clear:
A traditional sticker tag is like a label hanging around your neck — only useful if someone reads it.
The RFID windshield tag, on the other hand, is like a smart key that recognizes itself and opens the gate as you arrive.

A small difference in appearance, but a huge leap in convenience, security, and technology.

The ioGate® system uses advanced RFID technology to make gate opening completely automatic.
Each authorized vehicle receives an RFID tag to place on the inside of the windshield. This tag contains a unique, non-clonable code that can be read from a distance.

When the vehicle approaches the gate, the RFID antenna installed at the entrance automatically detects the tag’s signal. The system verifies authorization and opens the gate instantly — no remote, app, or buttons required.

This system eliminates all waiting and reduces access time, improving both security and traffic flow.

Key Benefits:
Automatic gate opening — no remote needed
No app activation required
Secure, non-clonable system
Fast vehicle recognition
